"Raphaël Faon and Andres Salgado, graduates of the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts de Paris-Cergy (ENSAPC) and currently researchers at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS),  have produced a work exploring the relationship between confidential information leaks, data transferts between servers throughout the world, and the flight of whistleblowers obliged to seek asylum from one State to the next. The two artists have materialised these exchanges through a computer algorithm that recomposes a planisphere while subverting the characteristic display of televised news streams : here they distribute WikiLeaks alerts. The work thus challenges representations of the world and state borders in this era of digital data flows."

This project was presented in the exhibition « l’Art de la révolte » curated by the Hors-pistes festival at the Centre Pompidou.
